it's been an embarrassingly long time since i have posted anything. work-life balance...what is that again? here's a few more images i'm considering adding to my 'still: prairie winters' series, all taken with the ever-unpredictable medium-format Diana camera. oh film, nothing will ever replace you. *sigh*

important to note and remember: i try very hard not to alter anything besides dusting up the negatives. many of these are exactly as they scanned. however some alterations had to happen, especially if underexposure was happening.

an unexpected double exposure. subdued.
this one and the following two were taken close to the same spot as i watched the sky completely change in front of me, hence why they are similar. not sure which to choose....or if i even have to?

last rays of a short winter day.
this is one of the rare ones that i had to colour adjust. it was a vibrant blue originally, and this is actually toned down if you can believe it.

excellent turkey and egg sandwich with peruvian coffee at a cafe in soho. then more wandering, looking for the 'impossible project' polaroid gallery. which we found, and it was very cool.

this photo interests me for a few reasons. it looked like a blank frame on my film. when scanning contact sheets there was zero information on it, so i thought i just hit the shutter while the lens cap was on or something. then i just happened to crop that blank frame while testing the scanner, and out popped this photo! it's from the hudson river, but i have no recollection of actually taking it.

lesson learned kids: don't discount those blank frames, take a closer look!
